Job Description
We are seeking a Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Core Java, Agile practices, CI/CD, TDD, and cloud-oriented development and a proven ability to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain resilient and secure applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using Core Java.
- Apply Agile methodologies within a common framework to deliver increments.
- Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Practice Test Driven Development to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Develop cloud-ready services with attention to resiliency and security.
- Collaborate across software engineering disciplines including analysis, testing, and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Build applications that will run on the bank's internal cloud and the public cloud platform
- Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team
- Handle critical and time sensitive concurrent tasks with supervision and properly escalate situations as appropriate
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience building and operating services in a public cloud environment.
- Prior work in Agile/Scrum teams with iterative delivery.
