responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily health, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise cloud platforms, with a heavy focus on the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
- Drive the transition and modernization of virtualization platforms, steering the shift from legacy hypervisors to updated virtual environments.
- Execute advanced identity and access management protocols, managing enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and enforcing strict security guidelines.
- Design and deploy proactive remote monitoring and endpoint management policies to ensure maximum uptime for a globally distributed workforce.
- Collaborate with security leaders to maintain strict compliance standards, perform regular access audits, and resolve emerging network vulnerabilities.
- Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical issues, troubleshooting advanced hardware, OS, and network connectivity challenges.

qualifications:
Must-Haves
3+ years (ideally 5+ years) of dedicated experience in advanced systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft cloud environments, including hands-on support for Azure, M365, and Entra ID.
Proven ability to write and execute scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) and utilize REST APIs to automate routine operational tasks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support a diverse, international user base of approximately 100 staff members.
A track record of thriving in a small, highly collaborative team where self-direction and autonomy are expected.
Nice-to-Haves
Previous experience migrating or managing virtualized environments.
Familiarity with enterprise identity solutions and centralized security platforms.
Understanding of standard compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Interest or background in integrating emerging artificial intelligence platforms into corporate IT environments.
