Desktop Support Analyst

Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will provide essential technical support to ensure seamless operation of computer systems, mobile devices, and related technologies. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach to addressing technical issues.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktop computers and mobile devices.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop workstations, including Windows 10 systems.
Provide support for Active Directory administration and related user access requests.
Ensure proper imaging and deployment of desktop hardware across the organization.
Assist with the installation and maintenance of office automation tools and software.
Deliver remote and in-person technical assistance to employees as needed.
Document technical issues and solutions in detail for future reference.
Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex system problems.
Conduct routine system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.
Educate users on best practices for utilizing technology efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in a help desk or customer support role within IT.
Solid knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Windows 10.
Familiarity with Active Directory and desktop imaging processes.
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical problems effectively.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical aptitude and willingness to stay updated on evolving technologies.
