Warehouse Asset Technician

Title: Warehouse Asset Technician

Location    Onsite - Allentown, PA (5 days/week)

Duration    12-month contract + possibility to extend

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels of standard IT equipment and supplies.
• Ship and receive equipment in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
• Unbox, inspect, tag, and prepare devices for deployment or storage.
• Update and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records to reflect current asset status, including returned, retired, scrapped, and shipped equipment.
• Print and apply shipping labels for equipment sent to remote users or other company locations.
• Generate and distribute return labels for remote users returning company-issued equipment.
• Maintain detailed shipping and receiving logs to support audit requirements and asset traceability.

Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, or IT asset handling.
• Familiarity with CMDB systems and asset-tracking processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working onsite in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
• Basic proficiency with computers and standard office tools.
