Job Description

We are seeking a senior technical leader with 10+ years of experience in integration and API development, including 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (APIC).

The ideal candidate will have strong Kubernetes knowledge and experience designing and delivering APIs in containerized and cloud-native environments. Experience with AWS and Red Hat OpenShift is highly desirable.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in integration and API development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (APIC).
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP services.
• Strong understanding of API security, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and TLS.
• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, and XSLT.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs in containerized and cloud-native environments.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Strong experience with enterprise API lifecycle management.
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior developers.
• Strong understanding of scalable, secure, reusable API and integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise API and integration solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and integration teams.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices for API development and integration.
• Drive end-to-end API lifecycle delivery, including design, development, deployment, security, monitoring, and support.
• Design scalable, secure, and reusable APIs aligned with enterprise architecture and standards.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
• Support API deployments in Kubernetes and other containerized environments.
• Ensure APIs follow enterprise security, governance, and integration standards.
• Participate in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support activities.
