Mainframe Hogan Developer
Introduction:
As a Mainframe Hogan Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing, enhancing, and supporting mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and Hogan. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure the quality and reliability of the applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and Hogan.
- Work extensively with Hogan applications/modules and customize functionality based on business requirements.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Develop and modify COBOL programs, JCL jobs, and associated mainframe components.
- Perform application debugging, code analysis, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis.
- Design and execute unit, integration, and system testing for application changes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, production issues, and application failures.
- Work with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, application support, and infrastructure teams.
