Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a Software Engineer on the Open Banking Channel team, you will be responsible for leading the development of API services and UI components. This channel enables interaction with third-party products and services for user-consented data sharing, supporting millions of customers. This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of three days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Lead development of API services and UI components for the Open Banking channel
- Manage vendor and FinTech API integrations for both inbound and outbound data sharing
- Build industry-standard based API solutions to facilitate customer-permissioned data sharing
- Develop target state architectures that enable business and product strategies across various lines of business
- Interface with both development and infrastructure teams to support overall channel resiliency for end-to-end transaction flows
Requirements: - Strong technical SME with understanding of APIs, Soap/Rest Webservices, the OAuth 2 authorization framework, gateway technologies, monitoring, and capacity management concepts
- Familiar with RESTful patterns
- Understanding of Financial Industry standards such as Open Financial Exchange (OFX), Durable Data API (DDA) and/or Financial Data Exchange (FDX)
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Splunk, and AppDynamics
- Strong strategic thinking, execution, communication, and relationship management skills
- Familiarity with utilizing AI in standard development practices
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
