Title: Data Migration Lead
Experience of working in Capital Markets is mandatory, with Calypso is nice to have
Total Exp. of 8+ years
Own end-to-end data migration strategy including scope (static data, trades, market data, historical data) and approach (phased vs big bang)
Design and implement ETL frameworks using Python for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Calypso
Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL scripts for data validation, reconciliation, and database-level transformations
Define source-to-target data mapping between legacy systems and Calypso data model (trades, counterparties, books, portfolios, cashflows)
Drive data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment activities, identifying gaps and inconsistencies in legacy data
Establish reconciliation frameworks:
o Trade-level reconciliation
o Position-level reconciliation
o PnL-level reconciliation
Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office teams to validate business-critical data (e.g., trades, settlements, accounting)
Lead mock migrations and dress rehearsals, ensuring repeatability, accuracy, and performance of migration cycles
Define and enforce data quality controls, validation rules, and audit trails to meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Work closely with integration teams to align migration with upstream/downstream systems (market data, payments, GL)
Optimize migration performance (handling millions of trades) using batching, parallel processing, and database tuning
Manage data cutover planning and execution, including rollback strategies and contingency planning
Coordinate with testing teams to ensure complete coverage of migrated data across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles
Provide post-go-live support for reconciliation breaks and data issues, ensuring rapid stabilization during hypercare
Lead and mentor a team of data engineers/analysts, working across onshore-offshore model
