Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to support senior leadership on high-impact data and technology initiatives for a major financial services client. This role operates at the intersection of business strategy, data, and technology, with a strong focus on developing executive-level strategy and decision-support materials.

The ideal candidate will act as a thought partner to senior stakeholders, capable of structuring ambiguous problems, synthesizing complex inputs, and translating analysis into clear, compelling narratives and strategic recommendations. While presentation- and strategy-led, the role requires a solid grounding in data architecture and modern technology platforms to ensure analytical rigor and credibility.

This position is fully onsite in McLean, VA, five days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop executive-level strategy presentations, insights, and decision-support materials

• Structure and analyze complex, ambiguous business and technology challenges

• Synthesize inputs from business, data, and technology teams into clear recommendations

• Partner with senior leaders to shape strategic narratives and executive messaging

• Support data, digital, and technology transformation initiatives with strong analytical rigor

• Ensure strategy deliverables are grounded in a solid understanding of data and technology concepts

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience creating executive-level strategy or decision-support presentations

• Strong problem-solving and analytical structuring skills

• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

• Solid understanding of data, technology, and modern data platforms

• Experience supporting data, digital, or technology transformation initiatives

• Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong focus on structure, clarity, and storytelling

• Ability and willingness to work onsite in McLean, VA, five days per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Financial services or mortgage-domain experience

• Experience supporting large-scale data or technology transformation programs

• Direct experience working with senior executives or C-level stakeholders

• Consulting, strategy, or analytics background
