The Mission

We are looking for a Service and Support Analyst who defines "ownership." This isn''t a desk job or a script-reading role. We need a technician who can walk into a high-pressure hospital environment, diagnose a failing POS station, fix it correctly the first time, and leave the site better than they found it—all without supervision.

What You’ll Do

You will be the "boots on the ground" for our dining and retail technology across several major healthcare facilities in the Miami area.

• Field Engineering: Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy full POS register stacks (CPU, monitors, scales, scanners, cash drawers, printers, and card/badge readers).

• Logical Diagnostics: Independent root-cause analysis. You must be able to differentiate between hardware failure, configuration errors, and transaction processing issues without needing a manual.

• Infrastructure Management: Trace and reconnect complex cabling (Serial/COM/Peripherals) and execute hardware swaps cleanly and efficiently.

• Validation & Testing: You don’t leave until it’s verified. You will test sale transactions, credit card processing, employee badge charges, and all peripheral functions after every fix.

• Asset Accuracy: Maintain meticulous documentation of device models and serial numbers across multiple locations using spreadsheets and matrices.

• Special Projects: Lead technical setups for seasonal pop-up sales, kiosks, and new technology rollouts.

• Hardware Proficiency: Expert-level ability to swap components and manage peripheral connectivity without creating new issues.

• Clear Communication: Ability to translate technical fixes into plain English for site managers and provide proactive updates to offsite support partners.

• Precision Documentation: A habit of capturing data accurately and meeting deadlines without constant reminders.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• POS Expertise: Strong preference for Oracle/Micros POS experience, though other enterprise retail POS systems will be considered.

• Industry Context: Previous experience in healthcare environments or multi-site enterprise retail is highly desirable.

• Local Mobility: Must be based in the Miami/South Florida area with a reliable means of travel across multiple hospital locations.

• Technical Versatility: Experience with badge/employee charge systems and integrated payment processing.
