Senior Systems Engineer - LTAMDS RadarWork Location: On-Site
Position OverviewLooking for a Senior Systems Engineer for supporting the development and supporting the life-cycle of the LTAMDS radar.
Key Responsibilities- Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
- Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
Desired Skill Set- Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
- Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB.
- Experience in developing and managing requirements.
- Experience with C++, Python, or similar.
- Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
- Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
- Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
Education Level Required- Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
