Job Title: Business Execution Consultant

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months + Potential for extension or conversion to FTE

Pay Rate: $65/HR (W2 Only)

Job/Role Description:

• This role leads end-to-end project management across one or more critical programs in payments operations.
• This position will drive execution of key deliverables including project plans, milestones, dependency management, defect tracking, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
• This position will ensure alignment to enterprise change management and control standards through Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) and governance checkpoints.
• Provide status reporting and executive-level communications to SteerCo, Operating Committee, and other leadership forums.
• Drive timely completion of control deliverables and remediation activities while maintaining strong risk visibility and proactive escalation of delivery issues.
• Improve delivery predictability, transparency, and speed through the application of agile methodologies.
• Act as an Agile coach and change agent across the portfolio, coaching program teams, product partners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, best practices, roles and responsibilities, and effective ceremonies and governance.
• Identify and remove impediments to agile adoption and support the development of a scalable agile delivery model within payments operations.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a regulated environment to achieve successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of project/program management experience in large, complex organizations
• Proven experience delivering in regulated environments (financial services)
• Demonstrated success managing multi-stream, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong knowledge of project delivery frameworks (waterfall and hybrid models)
• Strong knowledge of risk, control, and governance processes
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models in enterprise environments
• Experience serving as an Agile coach or transformation lead
• Familiarity with payments processing, operations, or financial services transformation initiatives
• Experience supporting regulatory or industry-driven programs (e.g., ISO 20022)
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
