Position Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced US-based SAP SuccessFactors Consultant / HR IT Business Partner to support and enhance our HR technology landscape. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise across multiple SuccessFactors modules, including Talent Acquisition Management (TAM), and act as a strategic partner between HR business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • This role will focus on system enhancements, release management, production support, and optimization of HR processes while ensuring the organization remains current with SAP SuccessFactors releases and best practices. The consultant will collaborate closely with HR leadership, Global Services (GS), and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary IT Business Partner supporting HR systems and SAP SuccessFactors platform.
  • Support multiple SAP SuccessFactors modules with emphasis on Talent Acquisition Management (TAM).
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead SAP SuccessFactors release reviews, impact analysis, regression planning, and deployment activities.
  • Ensure the organization stays current with SAP SuccessFactors quarterly releases and feature adoption.
  • Manage production support activities, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects within SLA timelines.
  • Work on system enhancements, process improvements, and configuration changes across HR modules.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to prioritize enhancement requests and roadmap initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors, implementation partners, and offshore/global teams as needed.
  • Support integrations between SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems.
  • Perform testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
  • Maintain documentation including functional specifications, configuration documents, and process flows.
  • Provide recommendations on HR technology best practices and process optimization.
  • Participate in governance discussions, CAB meetings, and change management activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP HCM / SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules such as:
  • Talent Acquisition Management (TAM)
  • Recruiting / Recruiting Marketing
  • Employee Central
  • Performance & Goals
  • Onboarding
  • Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience supporting and implementing SAP SuccessFactors quarterly releases.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes and HRIS operations.
  • Experience with production support, incident management, and enhancement delivery.
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors integrations using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with business and technical teams.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery model preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP SuccessFactors certifications preferred.
  • Prior experience acting as an HR IT Business Partner or HRIS Lead.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed/global teams.
  • Bay Area local candidates preferred.
  • Experience in change management and HR transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of SAP CPI/BTP integrations.
  • Experience with Workday or other HR platforms.
  • Reporting and analytics experience within SuccessFactors.
  • Exposure to ITIL processes and governance frameworks.
