Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Develop, review, and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios to validate application functionality and business requirements.
Perform data validation using database queries and verify application workflows, interfaces, and batch processing results.
Document test results, identify and report defects, participate in status meetings, and communicate testing progress to project stakeholders.
Prepare quality assurance deliverables for production releases, including test scenario documentation, execution results, defect summaries, and release readiness assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Experience in functional testing, end-to-end application testing, test scenario development, data validation, defect reporting, and release readiness activities.
Technical Skills:
Functional Testing, End-to-End Testing, Application Testing, SQL Queries, Test Scenario Development, Test Execution, Interface Testing, Batch Testing, Defect Management, Test Reporting
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience testing Integrated Eligibility System (IES) applications and other enterprise web-based applications, preferably in state government projects.
Experience validating business rules, application workflows, interfaces, data, batch processes, and end-to-end transactions through functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
Experience validating eligibility determination workflows, benefit applications, case processing, and data exchanges across integrated public-benefit systems.
Experience supporting production release quality assurance, test result reviews, defect resolution coordination, and release readiness activities in complex enterprise environments.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.
