This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating leadership priorities into actionable plans while ensuring complex programs move from concept to successful delivery. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in highly matrixed environments and can influence outcomes without direct authority.

You'll play a key role in advancing initiatives across AI enablement, data strategy, platform modernization, and technology operating model transformation.
What You'll Do
Lead Strategic Technology Programs
  • Drive execution across a portfolio of large-scale technology initiatives spanning multiple business units and technology organizations.
  • Translate strategic priorities into executable roadmaps, milestones, ownership structures, and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish governance, operating cadences, executive reviews, and escalation processes to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify and resolve risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and decision gaps.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across technology, architecture, cybersecurity, data, finance, and third-party vendors.
Drive Execution and Business Value
  • Define program goals, KPIs, success metrics, and expected business outcomes.
  • Monitor progress against milestones, financial objectives, and value realization targets.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify execution challenges and recommend corrective actions.
  • Partner with finance and business leaders to maintain visibility into investment performance and expected benefits.
  • Promote accountability across teams and workstreams to ensure commitments are delivered.
Manage Cross-Functional Dependencies
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple Strategic Businesses and enterprise technology teams.
  • Proactively identify shared dependencies, execution risks, and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and product teams to remove barriers and accelerate delivery.
  • Escalate critical issues to leadership with clear recommendations and impact assessments.
Executive Partnership and Continuous Improvement
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior technology leaders and CIOs.
  • Provide concise executive communications, status reporting, and strategic recommendations.
  • Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms to improve planning, reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Continuously enhance governance processes, reporting frameworks, and program management practices.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience leading complex, enterprise-scale technology programs.
  • Proven success delivering large cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Strong understanding of software development, technology platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and AI technologies.
  • Experience managing risks, dependencies, budgets, milestones, and competing priorities across matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without direct management authority.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Microsoft 365, and enterprise collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within Insurance or Financial Services environments.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related certifications.
  • Product Owner, Business Analyst, Engineering, or Technology Delivery background.
  • Advanced PowerPoint, presentation development, and data visualization capabilities.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies, innovation, and operational excellence.
