Job Title: PDH / PLM / Inventory / WMS Functional Consultant
Location: Remote Job
Duration: Full-time/Permanent
Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced PDH / PLM / Inventory / WMS Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and support of product and supply chain-related solutions.
- The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure effective management of product data, inventory operations, and warehouse processes across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- PDH / PLM
- Lead Product Data Hub (PDH) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementations and enhancements
- Manage product master data, item structures, attributes, catalogs, and lifecycle statuses
- Ensure data governance, quality, and consistency across downstream systems
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and product change management processes
- Inventory Management
- Configure and support Inventory Management processes including:
- Item setup and control
- Stock replenishment and transfers
- Cycle counting and physical inventory
- Lot and serial control
- Optimize inventory accuracy and availability across locations
- Warehouse Management (WMS)
- Implement and support Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Configure inbound, outbound, picking, packing, shipping, and put-away processes
- Support barcode/RF scanning and warehouse automation integrations
- Ensure alignment between warehouse operations and inventory systems
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional designs
- Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, and test scripts
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities
- Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in PDH, PLM, Inventory, and WMS modules
- Deep understanding of supply chain and warehouse operations
- Hands-on experience with configuration and functional setups
- Experience working on ERP implementations and rollouts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle SCM Cloud / Oracle PDH / Oracle WMS (if applicable)
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise implementations
- Exposure to integrations with MES, TMS, or third-party logistics providers
- Agile or Waterfall project experience
