Pay: $26.50-$33/hour
Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented
Quality Technician to support
manufacturing quality assurance, inspection, and metrology operations. This role is responsible for performing
first article inspections (FAI), receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure precision parts meet all engineering and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform FAI, in-process, and final inspections to verify product conformance
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Use CMM, vision systems, and manual inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators)
- Develop and run CMM programs from drawings and CAD models
- Troubleshoot quality issues and support operators, engineers, and inspectors
- Train team members on inspection methods, tools, and best practices
- Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain inspection records, documentation, and quality reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 4+ years of quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and metrology principles
- Hands-on experience with CMM and precision measurement equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Schedule & Environment
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Manufacturing/shop floor environment; lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
