Senior Salesforce Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Architect to help stabilize, enhance, and scale the platform following launch. This role will play a critical part in Phase 1 and Phase 2 initiatives, driving user adoption, continuous improvement, and architectural maturity across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Summary:
This is a hands-on architecture role-ideal for someone who can design and prescribe solutions but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to build, configure, and guide development directly. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to both business and technical teams, ensuring Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
* Own the overall direction and ongoing evolution of the Salesforce platform, with primary responsibility for Experience Cloud and Sales Cloud solutions
* Provide leadership and execution support for post-go-live initiatives, including early- and mid-phase enhancement efforts
* Work closely with business partners, administrators, and development teams to convert business objectives into sustainable technical designs
* Act as a working architect who contributes directly to configuration and build activities in addition to solution design
* Review Apex code and technical implementations, offering guidance to developers on approach, standards, and optimization
* Continuously assess and improve platform stability, performance, user experience, and long-term scalability
* Establish and maintain architectural standards that promote secure, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions
* Create and maintain technical designs and solution documentation spanning CRM functionality, Experience Cloud, automation, and system integrations
* Lead design discussions and provide coaching to development teams on when to leverage declarative capabilities versus custom code

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
