We are seeking a proactive and articulate Service Desk Analyst (Junior-to-Mid Level) to join our IT operations team. In this role, you will serve as the frontline of technical excellence, providing high-touch support to a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a critical position for a technician who not only possesses deep technical acumen across PC, Mac, and mobile platforms but also excels at "translating" complex technical jargon into clear, professional guidance for our diverse user base.

responsibilities:

Experience Requirements

  • Duration: 2+ years of IT Service Desk experience.
  • Environment: Experience in a mid-to-large business/corporation.
  • Platforms: In-depth knowledge of PC and Mac platforms.
  • Expertise: Diagnosis and resolution of software, hardware, and networking issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities User Support & Service Management
  • Primary Support: Provide IT Service Desk (ITSD) and deskside support to all users.
  • Single Point of Contact: Resolve issues for all desktop technology (laptops, tablets, mobile, printing, wireless, and A/V).
  • White Glove Support: Provide high-level "VIP" and executive support.
  • Ticket Lifecycle: Use ServiceNow to manage incidents and requests from start to finish based on agreed service levels (SLAs).
  • Onboarding: Conduct IT orientation for new hires.
Technical Maintenance & Operations
  • Hardware Lifecycle: Maintain, provision, and manage the lifecycle of hardware/software assets.
  • Account Administration: Provision and administer user accounts, distribution groups, and security groups in Active Directory.
  • Deployment: Perform staff equipment moves and changes.
  • Patching: Push and install workstation patches and assist with regression testing for OS upgrades.
  • Escalation: Coordinate with infrastructure engineering or operations teams when advanced assistance is required.
Audio/Visual & Conference Support
  • AV Support: Maintain conference rooms, including large-audience simultaneous conferencing and video conferencing.
  • Equipment: Provision and maintain projectors and other specialized office equipment.
Skills & Abilities
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, Mac OS, and Mobile OS.
  • Toolsets: Familiarity with remote diagnostic tools, asset management software, and software distribution tools.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; ability to interact with associates at all levels.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated with strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a flexible schedule.

Operating on a Tuesday-Saturday (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM) schedule, you will be the "single point of resolution" for technical requests delivered via phone, email, and in-person walk-ups.
