ServiceNow Developer/Administrator
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Partial Remote)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
This role involves working in a fast-paced Agile environment to support, administer, and develop on the ServiceNow Platform. The position requires working with cross-functional teams to provide solutions across different applications, performing production support, and ensuring the integrity and availability of multiple FedRamp ServiceNow instances. The candidate will be responsible for daily administration, issue resolution, and troubleshooting for all reported problems.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and develop on the ServiceNow platform, including routine changes and adjustments.
Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain the ServiceNow platform.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of ServiceNow applications.
Collaborate with platform and delivery teams to perform ServiceNow upgrades and patching.
Assist with report configuration, dashboards, and maintenance.
Collaborate with teammates to perform code reviews and discuss new developments.
Support the administration for production and non-production instances.
Collaborate with production support and operations teams to monitor support cases.
Document administrative processes and issue resolutions.
Work with business stakeholders to develop clear requirements and participate in daily scrum meetings.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Platform Administration. 3+ years of experience with applications including Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and ITOM/CMDB.
Technical Skills: Strong experience in system administration and JavaScript. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and diagnose performance-related issues. Experience with Agile methodologies is required.
Certifications: A current ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification is required. Candidates must have an active ServiceNow certification verifiable through the partner portal.
Preferred Qualifications
Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for SPM and/or APM.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 certification
