Summary

Role Title: AI Security Architect with Exp Cybersecurity (AI/ML Security) in GA
Location: Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH within 60 days)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Security Architect with a strong Cybersecurity/Security Architecture background and recent AI/ML project experience. This role will lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure AI solutions, with a focus on AWS cloud environments and AI-specific security risks.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure architectures for AI/ML systems in AWS
Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for AI development and deployment
Conduct AI/ML-specific threat modeling, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
Provide architectural leadership for secure integration with AWS Bedrock (AgentCore)
Evaluate and implement AI security tools for data protection, access control, and adversarial threat prevention
Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to embed security across the DevSecOps lifecycle
Lead incident response for AI-related security events
Stay updated on evolving AI security threats, cloud security trends, and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in cloud security architecture (AWS preferred)
Hands-on experience with AWS security services, including AWS Bedrock / AgentCore
Strong understanding of AI/ML security risks:
- Data poisoning
- Model evasion
- Adversarial attacks
- Data privacy and model governance
Experience securing ML pipelines and data workflows
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP
Experience working in regulated environments
