Overview

Join a fast-growing team building next-generation data centers across the Dallas area. We're hiring multiple Cable Technicians (Level 1-3), Fiber Splicers, and Site Leads/Superintendents to support large-scale hyperscale and enterprise data center projects.
This is a hands-on, on-site opportunity with strong potential for full-time conversion and career growth. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to high-impact infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, route, and dress copper and fiber cabling (CAT5, CAT6, fiber, coax)
  • Perform cable labeling, termination, and testing
  • Install cable trays, pathways, racks, and supports
  • Conduct fiber splicing and testing (where applicable)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Maintain organized job sites and manage installation materials
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues
  • Ensure quality standards (labeling, terminations, clean cable management)

Position Levels & Requirements

Level 1 Cable Technicians

  • Pay: $22-$25/hr
  • Requirements:
    • 6+ months of cabling or fiber installation experience OR completion of a fiber training program (trade school, bootcamp, etc.)
    • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced construction/data center environment

Level 2 Cable Technicians

  • Pay: $27-$30/hr
  • Requirements:
    • ~1+ year of structured cabling experience in commercial or data center environments
    • Experience with fiber terminations, testing, and installations
    • Working knowledge of splicing (basic exposure acceptable)
    • Ability to install pathways (cable tray, supports, fiber runners)

Level 3 Lead Technicians (Red Oak Site)

  • Pay: $35-$39/hr
  • Requirements:
    • Strong experience in structured cabling and data center builds
    • Ability to lead teams of 20-35 technicians
    • Experience with fiber systems, rack/stack, and infrastructure builds
    • Administrative skills (Excel, tracking, timecards, reporting)
    • Proven leadership and mentorship abilities

Fiber Splicers

  • Pay: $35-$47/hr
  • Requirements:
    • Strong expertise in fiber splicing (fusion splicing preferred)
    • Experience testing and troubleshooting fiber networks
    • Knowledge of ribbonized splicing and fiber types is a plus

Superintendents (Irving Site)

  • Pay: $37-$42/hr
  • Requirements:
    • Proven experience leading large-scale data center (DC) builds
    • Background in OSP/ISP and hyperscale environments
    • Ability to manage teams of 20-35 technicians
    • Strong administrative and reporting skills

Preferred Skills

  • Structured cabling (OSP/ISP)
  • Fiber and copper termination/testing
  • Rack & stack installations
  • Punch-downs and patch panel work
  • Knowledge of color codes and QA standards
  • Experience with Fluke/Versiv testers (nice to have)

Work Environment

  • Data center construction sites (indoor and occasional outdoor work)
  • Physically active role (lifting, climbing, cable pulling)
  • Team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $40.00/hr.
