Job Summary:

Tryfacta is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Python/Django) for a contract opportunity in Brooklyn, NY 11201. This role involves developing and enhancing large-scale, public-facing applications with complex business logic and high-volume data processing.

Position Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Python/Django)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201
Duration: 2 Years
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop backend applications using Python, Django (4.x), and Django REST Framework, along with frontend development using React
• Design and implement scalable APIs, data models, and application components
• Develop and implement complex business logic including eligibility rules, workflows, and system integrations
• Build and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
• Implement asynchronous processing using Redis and Celery for high-volume operations
• Collaborate across teams to support full SDLC including design, development, testing, and deployment
• Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure application stability
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability under high user load
• Support CI/CD processes and deployments in enterprise environments

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with Python and Django development
• Strong experience with Django REST Framework and API development
• 6+ years of experience with React
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design and optimization)
• Proven experience with Redis and Celery in production environments
• Experience working in CI/CD environments (Azure DevOps or similar)
• Strong experience building large-scale, high-traffic applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SLED (State, Local, Government) environments
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
• Experience with performance testing, authentication (SSO/SAML), and scalable system design
