Production Coordinator (Publishing) Job Description:
We're looking for a Production Coordinator to join a Content Studio team, which manages many of the top social media company's owned and operated official brand social accounts. This role is responsible for supporting all production efforts on hundreds of content projects from conception, execution to publishing. This person should be passionate about social media and be extremely proficient in posting content on all major platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, prioritizes attention to detail, thrives in a multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment, and has a demonstrated ability of working with a global team to create daily social content across various platforms for an international audience. Additionally, this individual should have experience working with a creative team, varied media formats, editors and animators, strong communication, and technical understanding of social media platforms.
Assist team with all elements of production including:
Help manage daily pre-production, production and post-production deadlines
Assist producers with required services agreements, purchase orders, licensing and releases for projects
Help Production Managers and Lead keep track of project estimates and budgets
Support Production Lead in editorial calendaring, planning, and data accuracy
Review budget and production schedules and update as needed while reporting recommendations and justifications for changes to management
Update team resources and documentation
Coordinate content workflows with freelancers
Support transcriptions and translation services for projects
Help with shipping and logistics for equipment and media
Track equipment inventory + rentals
Media management and archiving
Conduct QA of all final deliverables
Publish all content across the social media platforms
Assist with editorial research for project development
Support media and community operations workflows for team
Requirements
4+ years of production experience
Experience in managing production for editorial video assets for social media
Experience in managing production across multiple mediums: documentaries, short-form, narrative, and brand social.
Comfortable with licensing and working with legal on contracts and agreements
Experience managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
Experience running small to large-sized projects with multiple stakeholders
Experience managing external creative and production partners
Able to build working relationships with core and cross-functional teams
Able to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
Communicate and enforce editorial standards
Able to manage production of high caliber content with limited resources
Familiarity with social media platforms, creative tools, publishing, and project management software.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
