IT Resource Manager Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of an IT Resource Manager Consultant in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Partner with the PMO to manage intake and prioritize IT requests based on patient safety, regulatory needs, and ROI
* Maintain the demand forecast of upcoming projects, maintenance work, and IT resource needs
* Model labor and capital requirements with IT leaders to support incoming demand.
* Allocate IT resources to projects based on skills, availability, and priority
* Analyze capacity and capability to ensure the right skills are available (e.g., Epic, HL7)
* Track utilization and burn rates to prevent over-allocation and reduce risk and turnover
* Identify skill gaps and training needs in partnership with HR and IT leadership

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years in IT Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or a Project Management Office (PMO) role
* Understanding of IT operations, including on-call support models and specialized application skill sets
* Proficiency with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Workfront, Smartsheet) to track labor hours and resource allocation
* Ability to assess team capacity, identifying overutilization and available bench time

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
