Role Title: SAP Project Manager
Employment Type: Contract

Location: Raleigh, NC Area (5 Days Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and drive SAP initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee end-to-end project delivery, partnering with cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure successful execution of SAP S/4HANA projects and related enterprise initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of SAP delivery leadership, manufacturing systems experience, and the ability to manage complex projects across both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP projects from initiation through deployment and stabilization
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication
Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, IT, and external partners
Drive SAP S/4HANA implementation activities and related integration efforts
Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and executive updates
Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery
Support manufacturing-focused systems and processes, including ERP and MES environments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of IT/technical project management experience
PMP certification or equivalent project management certification
8+ years leading SAP projects of varying size and complexity
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations
Experience working within manufacturing environments
Knowledge of manufacturing systems such as ERP and MES platforms
Experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Preferred Experience

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments
Proven track record delivering complex SAP programs successfully
