Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer (W2 Contract)
Location: Onsite – Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 24-Month Contract (W2)
Pay Rate: $20–$27/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
About the Role
Russell Tobin is supporting the hiring process for a Desktop Support Engineer on behalf of a leading enterprise retail organization. This is a fully onsite role based in Phoenix, AZ, providing first-level technical support to end users in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for all end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and voice/data communication issues
- Escalate incidents to appropriate teams when necessary
- Create clear, concise, and informative support tickets
- Track, monitor, and follow up on all tickets through to resolution
- Deliver timely updates and maintain strong customer communication
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
- Ability to write technical support documentation
- Strong computer proficiency across hardware and software technologies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
- Prior customer service, call center, help desk, or desktop support experience required
