Summary

Position: WebLogic Administrator

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced WebLogic Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle SOA, Java, and SQL backend systems. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience managing enterprise-grade WebLogic environments and a strong background in cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, and support Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
Manage and support applications built on Oracle SOA, Java, and SQL backends.
Dockerize WebLogic domains and applications for cloud deployments.
Deploy and operate WebLogic workloads on Kubernetes, specifically Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps for:
Container image builds
Configuration promotion across environments
Automated application deployments
Align infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices with YAML and/or Terraform.
Ensure system performance, availability, security, and scalability in cloud environments.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and cloud teams to improve deployment and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience as a WebLogic Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server.
Solid background in Oracle SOA, Java, and SQL.
Proven experience with cloud platforms (OCI preferred).
Hands-on expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (OKE).
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts using YAML and/or Terraform.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

OCI certifications
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Exposure to microservices and cloud-native architectures
