Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: San Francisco, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing an exciting opportunity for a hands-on data professional to help shape enterprise data products and analytics solutions across supply chain domains. Our team is seeking a technical leader who can build scalable cloud-native data solutions, support advanced analytics, and contribute to high-impact decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and data products on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and optimize enterprise data solutions using Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Data Architects, Business SMEs, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and support production issue resolution while contributing to reusable frameworks, engineering standards, and documentation.
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering with demonstrated technical leadership on enterprise data projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Expert-level proficiency in Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Strong understanding of modern ETL/ELT architecture, large-scale data processing, data modeling techniques, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
