As an Associate Test Automation Engineer, you will design and develop scalable automated test frameworks leveraging modern tools and AI-driven methodologies. You will contribute to building intelligent testing solutions using LLMs and agentic systems to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will ensure high-quality software through continuous integration and automated validation. This role offers an opportunity to innovate in next-generation test automation by combining traditional engineering practices with advanced AI technologies.
Your role
* Design and implement end-to-end testing frameworks leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic workflows.
* Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and data layers across multiple platforms.
* Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) models into testing pipelines.
* Build and manage test data pipelines for diverse applications and environments.
* Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment.
* Identify and resolve environmental and data dependencies for comprehensive E2E testing.
* Lead defect triage, backlog grooming, and root cause analysis sessions.
Your skills and experience
* Around 1 year of experience working in or supporting AI based testing environments, or strong interest with hands on exposure through projects or coursework.
* Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language such as Python (preferred), Java, or JavaScript.
* Basic to intermediate experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
* Familiarity with API testing concepts and tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.Foundational understanding of LLMs and NLP concepts,including prompt engineering and basic model integration; exposure to agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, Semantic Kernel) is a plus.
* Basic experience with test data handling, including working with SQL/NoSQL databases, synthetic test data, or data masking under guidance.
* Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments, CI/CD practices, and cloud or container platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; Docker/Kubernetes), along with good communication and collaboration skills.
