Position: Enterprise Architect – Google Cloud Platform
Location: Austin TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Experience Required
- 14+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture
- Define and drive cloud transformation strategies and modernization roadmaps
- Lead enterprise DevOps transformation initiatives
- Establish enterprise-wide governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Conduct technical due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
- Mentor and guide solution architects and technical leads
- Collaborate with C-level executives and board-level stakeholders
Core Technical Skills: Cloud & Architecture (Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) enterprise services
- Experience with multi-project architecture, including:
- Google Cloud Resource Manager
- Google Cloud Organizations
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Terraform
- Google Cloud Deployment Manager
Security, Governance & Compliance
- Strong expertise in:
- Google Cloud IAM
- Security Command Center
- Google Cloud Audit Logs
- Organization Policy Service
Data & Analytics Platforms
- Experience working with:
- BigQuery
- Dataflow
- Pub/Sub
DevOps & CI/CD
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with:
Compute & Workload Deployment
- Experience designing and deploying workloads using:
- Compute Engine
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud Run
Networking & Hybrid Cloud
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cloud VPN
- Cloud Interconnect
Additional Expertise
- Application modernization (monolith to microservices)
- Containerization and serverless architectures
- Migration strategies:
- Lift-and-shift
- Re-platforming
- Re-architecting
- Cost optimization and performance tuning
Good to Have Skills
- Experience working with Big 4 consulting firms or large system integrators
- Knowledge of emerging technologies:
- AI/ML using Vertex AI
- IoT architectures and platforms
- Experience with industry-specific regulatory frameworks
Certifications (Preferred)
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
