This is an onsite role 3 days per week in our NYC office. Local candidates are preferred, and an inperson interview may be required.

We are looking for a strong Data Engineer who can independently build endtoend data pipelines using Python from scratch, write clean and reusable ETL code, and apply solid OOP principles in real projects.
The right fit should have deep experience with SQL across multiple dialects such as SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2, along with a strong understanding of data modeling concepts including schemas, entity relationships, and dimensional design. Handson familiarity with Airflow especially developing and maintaining DAGs is important.
We also need someone who has worked with modern data warehouse and lakehouse platforms like BigQuery and Databricks Delta Lakehouse, with the ability to ingest, cleanse, govern, and prepare data programmatically.
Experience with Spark is a plus, and knowledge of IBM Apptio is a nice to have.
