Summary

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support security products for local government environments. This role focuses on EDR, Vulnerability Management, and SOC support, ensuring tools are optimized, healthy, and delivering strong threat visibility.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain EDR tools (CrowdStrike preferred)
Tune detection rules and security policies; reduce false positives
Maintain accurate asset inventories
Perform agent and platform health checks
Administer Vulnerability Management platforms (Tenable preferred)
Configure and schedule scans; tune scan policies
Investigate and remediate agent or integration issues
Support SOC tickets, meet SLAs, and document resolutions
Maintain RMM tools and escalate complex issues

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with EDR and Vulnerability Management
Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon and/or Tenable
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and SOC workflow knowledge
Experience supporting government or regulated environments preferred

Certifications (Preferred)

Security+
CrowdStrike CCFA
Tenable Certification
