StubHub is looking for a Software Engineer I to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features. As a Software Engineer at StubHub, you will be at the forefront of tackling significant, ambiguous, and non-trivial challenges as a core contributor and innovator, bringing creative technical solutions to life. To ensure our company's success, our Software Engineers must demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm in the problems they tackle.

About the Team: The
Infrastructure team is a group of highly motivated engineers focused on enabling the foundation for rapid, reliable, and scalable product development at StubHub. We own and evolve the internal service catalog and core compute platforms which power the creation of applications and services across the company.
Our responsibilities include build systems, deployment tooling, artifact management, infrastructure provisioning, and cloud resource management. We also own foundational capabilities like service attribution. We work closely with engineering teams across the organization to promote infrastructure best practices, self-service platforms, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do: - Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub's platforms and products, resulting in high-quality outcomes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our code
- Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise
What You've Done: - 1-2 software engineering internships, or equivalent demonstration
- Exposure to designing and developing robust, distributed systems using multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Golang)
- Exposure to designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact
- Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub's total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
