Overview
DecisionPoint seeks E-EFMP UI/UX Designers to support user experience design, wireframing, prototyping, and user research for enterprise applications within a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. These roles ensure that E-EFMP digital services are intuitive, accessible, efficient, and aligned with human-centered design practices.
The UI/UX Designers work closely with product managers, developers, business analysts, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into polished design deliverables that improve usability and support the mission's service needs.
These positions are fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities
The E-EFMP UI/UX Designer will:
Clearance Requirement
Must hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation.
Education (Required)
Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Digital Arts, or a related field.

Duties & Responsibilities
The E-EFMP UI/UX Designer will:
- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journey maps for E-EFMP applications.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Translate user requirements and mission workflows into intuitive, user-centered designs.
- Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard tools.
- Document interaction patterns, navigation structures, and visual design guidance.
- Work with developers to ensure UI/UX designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, including Section 508/WCAG guidelines.
- Create and maintain style guides, component libraries, and design documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint reviews, planning, and refinement.
- Analyze user feedback and usage data to refine designs and improve user experience.
Clearance Requirement

Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Digital Arts, or a related field.
Experience (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, human-centered design, or digital interface development.
- Experience developing wireframes, prototypes, and user interface assets.
- Experience conducting usability testing or user-centered research.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams.
Technical Knowledge (Required)
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility design standards (WCAG, Section 508).
Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
- Experience supporting DoD or federal digital service environments.
- Familiarity with component-based UI development or design systems.
- Experience working with analytics or user behavior data to inform design.
Certifications (Preferred)
- UX/UI design certifications
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- Human-centered design or usability credentials
Skills
- Strong visual design and interaction design skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to produce clear, detailed, and user-focused design documentation.
