Role Overview

The client is seeking a Cloud Communications Engineer with strong experience in VoIP, SIP technologies, and cloud communication platforms. The role involves supporting cloud strategy, performing business process analysis, leading implementation activities, and engineering integrations with major cloud communication vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Support cloud systems strategy, business requirements gathering, and documentation
Lead fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process design, and prototype configuration
Manage and lead workstreams during cloud implementation projects
Deploy, configure, and support physical and virtualized communication platforms
Engineer integrations with cloud communication vendors such as Cisco Webex, Amazon Connect, and Microsoft Teams
Perform cloud release upgrades, patch testing, and issue resolution
Conduct business process impact analysis with key stakeholders
Provide testing support, user training, and documentation
Monitor and troubleshoot systems using tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark
