Role: SAP PPDS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) Consultant
Location: Canada (Mostly remote with occasional client travel)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP PPDS Consultant to support a client in Canada for an ongoing SAP transformation program currently in the discovery phase. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and solution architects to design and implement PPDS solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery workshops and requirement gathering sessions

• Design and implement SAP PPDS solutions within the SAP S/4HANA / APO landscape

• Translate business planning and scheduling needs into functional specifications

• Configure PPDS planning strategies, heuristics, and optimization

• Support integration with modules like PP, MM, SD, and IBP/APO

• Provide solution recommendations and best practices

• Assist in testing, deployment, and hypercare support

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in PPDS

• Hands-on experience in SAP PPDS configuration and implementation

• Experience in at least one end-to-end S/4HANA or APO PPDS project

• Strong understanding of manufacturing planning, scheduling, and supply chain processes

• Experience working in discovery/blueprint phases

• Ability to interact with business stakeholders and drive workshops

Preferred Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA embedded PPDS

• Exposure to SAP IBP or APO

• Prior experience working with North American clients

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Mostly remote

• Occasional travel to client location in Canada based on project needs
