Serve as the Business Analyst and Scrum Master supporting the ICEMAN Claims Intake application within the Debit Card Fraud Technology organization. The role supports a cross-functional Agile team consisting of approximately 10 software engineers and QA analysts, while working closely with the Project Manager, Application Manager, Release Train Engineer (RTE), Product Owners, Architects, Infrastructure teams, Quality Assurance, and Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders.
Responsible for leading Agile delivery activities across the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions while maintaining alignment with Bank of America''s enterprise standards, governance, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and Release Planning.
- Serve as the primary Business Analyst by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements with Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into Epics, Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, process flows, and functional documentation.
- Partner with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain the product backlog based on business value, regulatory requirements, production support, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate development activities across software engineering, QA, infrastructure, architecture, database, middleware, and production support teams.
- Remove team impediments, resolve delivery risks, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful sprint execution.
- Manage sprint capacity, workload balancing, resource planning, and delivery commitments.
- Support Business-as-Usual (BAU) initiatives, production incidents, defect management, and application enhancements for the ICEMAN Claims Intake platform.
- Perform impact analysis and coordinate technical solutions for new business functionality requested by Line of Business partners.
- Support end-to-end release management activities including planning, change approvals, implementation readiness, deployment coordination, production validation, smoke testing, and post-deployment verification.
- Coordinate release events across multiple technology teams to ensure successful implementation with minimal business disruption.
- Facilitate communication between development teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and the Release Train Engineer (RTE) throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Track project status, sprint metrics, delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting.
- Ensure all work complies with Bank of America governance standards, Quality Management System (QMS), Model Risk Assessment (MRA) requirements, audit controls, security policies, and enterprise change management processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) activities for production issues and help drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Support testing activities including requirements validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), quality reviews, and production readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams during system upgrades, application modernization efforts, and technology migrations.
- Utilize Agile tools including Jira, Confluence, Octane, Remedy, and SQL for requirements management, defect tracking, reporting, and data validation.
- Build alignment among technical teams, business partners, and executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic fraud prevention initiatives.
