Artificial Intelligence Expert-AI/ML/LLM w/Snowflake Cortex Experience (REMOTE)

We are seeking an AI Expert (Remote) with deep expertise in AI/ML/LLM technologies and hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex. This role combines solution architecture and AI enablement, working directly with customers to design, implement, and optimize data-driven AI solutions on Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly engage with customers individually or as part of a technical delivery team.
• Oversee and advise on the implementation of customers Snowflake platforms.
• Demonstrate technical leadership through solution architectures, implementation recommendations, and hands-on code development.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer executive leadership, providing thought leadership and solution approaches.
• Extract business requirements and translate them into well-architected, AI-driven recommendations.
• Develop and provide forward-looking guidance, including future-state roadmaps.
• Leverage best practices to reduce risk in customer implementations.
• Decompose future-state AI/ML goals into actionable execution plans.
• Collaborate with Snowflake GTM and product teams to align customer outcomes with Snowflake s strategy.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 12 14 years of experience as a Senior Solutions Architect, Data Architect, Database Administrator, or Data Engineer.
• 12 14 years of technical consulting experience.
• Proven experience leading analytics projects for large enterprises.
• Experience implementing and operating Snowflake-centric solutions.
• Strong understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow (ETL, data platform design, BI, analytics tools).
• Familiarity with common BI and ETL solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Java, and/or Spark for building, operating, and maintaining data analytics solutions.
• Deep knowledge and experience with large-scale database technologies (Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, etc.).
• Proficiency in implementing data security measures, access controls, and solution design specifically within the Snowflake platform.

Specific AI/ML Expertise

• Snowflake Cortex Enablement: In-depth knowledge of Cortex features (Cortex Search, Cortex Analyst, DocAI, etc.) and their practical applications.
• Decision Frameworks: Ability to guide customers on when to use Cortex Search, decision matrices, and related approaches.
• GenAI Problem Solving: Given a customer challenge, determine the best GenAI-driven resolution strategies.
• RAG & Embeddings: Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and how to set up robust ML/LLM models.
• DocAI Best Practices: Experience ensuring optimal setup and performance of DocAI solutions.
• Strengths & Limitations: Clear perspective on the strengths and weaknesses of Cortex for specific use cases.
• AI/ML Foundations: Strong grasp of AI/ML fundamentals with the ability to dive deep into advanced functionalities as needed.
