Job Description
We are seeking a Lead GenAI Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in architecting and building production GenAI applications, multi-agent orchestration, and API-first, headless service design and a proven ability to propose architecture, make key technical decisions, and deliver production-grade code for stateful, multi-turn applications.
Focus Area
Agentic content-application architecture and orchestration. You will design and build a stateful, headless GenAI application that assists commercial marketers in creating grounded and personalized content. The application will coordinate multiple agents and enterprise services, maintain conversational and project state, and generate structured JSON or HTML content blueprints that downstream platforms can assemble into finished assets. This is a hands-on senior contractor role with responsibility for architecture, key technical decisions, and critical component implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a stateful, headless GenAI application with multi-agent orchestration and multi-turn conversations.
- Define API-first interfaces and structured contracts for downstream assembly platforms.
- Integrate with enterprise platforms, data services, and content repositories to enable grounding and personalization.
- Implement application state, memory, RAG, evaluations, and production observability.
- Build streaming, multi-turn interfaces with clarification flows, conversation history, and robust error handling.
- Render structured responses including tables, charts, citations, and reusable results.
- Establish coding patterns, review code, mentor engineers, and deliver production-quality components.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Significant hands-on experience architecting and delivering production GenAI applications.
- Strong Python or TypeScript engineering and microservices expertise.
- Experience designing stateful, multi-turn, multi-agent orchestration.
- API-first architecture and structured-contract design proficiency.
- Background building headless services that output structured JSON or HTML for downstream systems.
- Integration experience with enterprise platforms, data services, and content repositories.
- Knowledge of RAG, grounding, application state, memory, evaluations, and production observability practices.
- Experience building streaming, multi-turn interfaces with clarification flows and error handling.
- Ability to propose architecture, set coding patterns, make technical decisions, review code, and ship production code.
- Strong AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with content generation, content-as-code, personalization, or marketing-technology platforms.
- Familiarity with Workfront, Veeva Vault PromoMats, AEM Assets, or comparable enterprise content systems.
- Experience in commercial pharma or regulated content environments.
Work Location & Hours
- Bay Area preferred, with the ability to work from the office 1-2 days per week.
- Otherwise, provide 4-6 hours of daily working overlap with Pacific Time.
