Position Description
We are seeking a technical architect to lead enterprise application architecture, modernization, integration, and technical governance activities for a large public-sector technology initiative. The Technical Architect will design and support scalable web, GIS, reporting, and data integration solutions across multiple enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in application modernization, system integrations, cloud/SaaS platforms, and enterprise technical architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design enterprise application and integration architectures.
Lead technical modernization and system design initiatives.
Support GIS, reporting, and web application integration strategies.
Guide database architecture, APIs, and data integration solutions.
Support build/release management and technical governance activities.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, GIS teams, and stakeholders.
Ensure scalability, performance, security, and accessibility compliance.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of enterprise application architecture experience.
Strong experience with web applications, APIs, and system integrations.
Experience with cloud or SaaS-based platforms.
Knowledge of database technologies and enterprise data architecture.
Experience with Git and build/release management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
Experience supporting public-sector or transportation initiatives.
Exposure to GIS-enabled applications and reporting systems.
