JR Network Specialist - Job DescriptionThis organization is a regional Technology Service Provider supporting a wide range of client environments across multiple locations. The team delivers centralized services including infrastructure support, telecommunications, systems administration, and service desk operations. Each client site is staffed with technical specialists who provide hands-on troubleshooting for a variety of hardware and software technologies, including Chromebooks, PCs, Windows devices, interactive displays, iPads, and other end-user equipment. Experience supporting these types of devices is highly beneficial.
The JR Network Specialist will report to a Managed Information Technology Team Lead and will work directly with end users and site leadership. Strong technical aptitude, professionalism, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Core Responsibilities- Provide support for Windows operating systems (Windows 10).
- Assist with troubleshooting in virtual server environments.
- Diagnose and resolve email-related issues.
- Perform workstation setup, configuration, and installation.
- Install operating systems and perform basic network upgrades.
- Troubleshoot desktop hardware and software issues.
- Configure and manage user profiles using Active Directory or similar directory services.
- Support general networking tasks, including printers, routers, user/group management.
- Assist with server hardware configuration.
- Perform switch configuration and basic network troubleshooting.
- Support LAN/WAN connectivity and performance issues.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
