Senior OpenShift Platform Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and standardize OpenShift Container Platform architectures for enterprise private cloud environments
• Lead Day 1 cluster design and build efforts, including reference architectures and baseline configurations
• Define and document standards for:
  • Networking, storage, ingress, authentication, and RBAC
  • High availability, resilience, and disaster recovery
• Architect and guide multicluster Kubernetes environments, including use of Red Hat ACM
• Define automation and configuration standards using Ansible and GitOps principles
• Ensure platform designs align with DevSecOps practices and security requirements
• Guide ATOrelated activities, including architecture documentation, baseline definition, and audit support
• Serve as the technical authority and escalation point for platform design decisions
• Partner with systems administrators to ensure architectural designs are operationally supportable

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering experience
• Strong handson experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
• Deep Kubernetes architecture experience in private cloud environments
• Proven experience leading Day 1 OpenShift designs and deployments
• Experience designing multicluster Kubernetes platforms
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps concepts and implementation
• Experience supporting or guiding ATO or compliancedriven environments
• Strong technical documentation and design communication skills

Preferred Certifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
• Red Hat Certified OpenShift Architect (if available)
• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
• AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform Solutions Architect (for hybrid or private cloud experience)
• Security+ or equivalent (preferred for compliancedriven environments)
