Role: ADA Digital Accessibility Specialist

Location: Madison, WI - Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. Those local to the Madison area are strongly preferred. No relocation allowed.
The ADA Digital Accessibility Specialist to assist with accessibility remediation of digital content.
Additional details: The selected hire is expected to cover parking costs or work out a reimbursement agreement with their supplier. There is some free street parking in the vicinity, or else onsite parking at a monthly rate of approximately $70/month.
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:
• Candidate must display drive and urgency in getting tasks completed quickly and independently
• ADA Accessibility experience with websites, applications, forms, PDF and conventional documents
• Hands-on experience in using tools like WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, Acrobat PRO, manual keyboard testing.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Developing documentation or checklists for staff
• Professional collaboration across all levels of the organization. After a trial period, this position may be eligible for remote work up to three days per week.
