\nYou will be part of the software development team focusing on hyper-scaled Core Backbone & Internet networking. As a member you will design and develop new applications for building highly scalable core network of Apple. The goal is to delivery scale and reliability to our Global network covering edge and backbone core. These tools defining the Core platform will be built drawing expertise from cross-disciplinary areas including large scale distributed systems, fault-tolerant systems, concurrent systems, operating systems and high performance analytics. 8+ years of experience in software engineering.\n\nExpert level of proficiency with modern programming languages and frameworks. Such as Python/Django/Golang are strongly preferred. \n\nStrong experience on relational databases such as Postgres, MySql\n\nStrong software engineering background with experience with building/maintaining RESTful APIs\n\nStrong experience in using CI/CD tools and techniques\n
Strong experience with Linux system administration\n\nExperience with application containerization technologies (Docker, Kube)\n\nExperience operating and developing infrastructure and services in cloud platforms\n\nUnderstanding of centralized configuration management and provisioning technologies, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc. a plus\n\nUnderstanding of network protocols such as (BGP, MPLS)\n\nFamiliarity in network monitoring protocols (Netflow, SNMP etc)\n\nExperience network protocols such as (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, UDP,DNS)\n\nSolid understanding of network operating systems such as (i.e. Junos, IOS, EOS) is a plus\n
