Gen AI Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Gen AI Architect to lead the enterprise AI strategy and architecture for a global financial services client. This is a strategic leadership role requiring a seasoned professional who can advise VP- and C-level executives, define the organization''s Generative AI roadmap, and drive enterprise-wide AI adoption. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with executive-level consulting and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise Generative AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with VP- and C-level executives to identify high-value AI use cases and establish AI transformation initiatives.
• Architect scalable, secure, and production-ready Gen AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Design enterprise AI platforms leveraging RAG, AI agents, vector databases, and model orchestration frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple AI programs and mentor engineering and architecture teams.
• Establish AI governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI best practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, vendors, and frameworks to support long-term business strategy.
• Drive architecture reviews, technology standards, and enterprise design decisions.
• Collaborate with business, data, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise AI capabilities.
• Present technical strategies, architecture proposals, and executive briefings to senior leadership.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, AI/ML, or Cloud Architecture.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing Generative AI solutions for large enterprises.
• Strong expertise with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, Llama, and other LLM platforms.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, ChromaDB, FAISS), and AI agents.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with API development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, Docker, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security, governance, and AI lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead enterprise-wide technology transformation.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience defining enterprise AI strategies and multi-year technology roadmaps.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI, autonomous workflows, and multi-agent systems.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps, AI monitoring, and model governance.
• Strong consulting, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to bridge business strategy with technical execution and drive organizational AI adoption
