Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Lead a development pod of Java engineers in designing, developing, testing, and delivering enterprise application features. Provide technical direction, coordinate development activities, and ensure alignment with architectural and business requirements.
Design and develop microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, while contributing to full-stack application development using ReactJS and supporting database integration.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, promote architectural best practices, and guide development teams through the complete software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and production readiness.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers, collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA teams, and communicate delivery progress, technical challenges, and risks to stakeholders and onshore teams.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
8+ years of Java development experience, including 3+ years in a technical lead role.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and ReactJS, along with advanced Oracle database knowledge.
Experience with Agile delivery practices, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting enterprise wealth management and financial services applications, including business platforms that support financial operations, investment-related workflows, and client-facing services.
Experience developing and enhancing enterprise financial applications, supporting business workflows, application integrations, data processing, and reliable delivery of business functionality.
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting business operations.
Experience leading cross-functional development teams and coordinating with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise technology solutions within structured financial services environments.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within wealth management, banking, investment management, or other financial services technology environments.
Experience designing scalable application architectures, implementing microservices, developing RESTful integrations, and maintaining enterprise application quality and performance.
Strong technical leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Azure cloud services and enterprise CI/CD practices is preferred.
