AI Architect

We re seeking a forward-thinking AI Architect who can bridge strategy and execution combining deep expertise in Generative AI, Azure AI, and Copilot technologies with hands-on delivery. This role requires someone who can build real-world solutions, clearly communicate the vision, and influence AI roadmaps and adoption. This 12-month contract position will be working on-site 3 days per week in Dallas, TX.

COMP: Up to $95/HR depending on candidate s experience

WHAT YOU LL DO:

1. AI Architecture, Strategy & Solution Design

• Design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions across Microsoft s AI ecosystem (ingestion deployment lifecycle)
• Define and standardize GenAI reference architectures
• Select tools with a focus on cost efficiency and speed to delivery
• Partner with platform teams to ensure AI infrastructure readiness
• Establish AI governance aligned with security, compliance, and cloud standards
• Build for scalability, monitoring, and auditability

2. AI Application Development & Integration

• Build and deploy solutions using Azure Foundry and Copilot Studio
• Develop LLM-powered applications using modern AI techniques
• Integrate AI into enterprise systems and workflows
• Extend and customize Copilot experiences
• Connect solutions with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

3. Innovation, Leadership & Enablement

• Translate business needs into high-impact AI use cases
• Define AI roadmaps, blueprints, and adoption strategies
• Lead and mentor teams; support POCs and experimentation
• Serve as a trusted advisor to technical and non-technical stakeholders

WHAT YOU LL BRING:

• Strong foundation in AI/ML concepts (LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search)
• Experience with Azure AI services and cloud fundamentals
• Proven ability to design scalable, enterprise-grade architectures
• Hands-on experience with integrations (Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, Fabric)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills comfortable influencing leadership
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a strategic, big-picture approach
