CNC Maintenance Technician
Location: Johnson Creek, WI
Employment Type: 1st shift. Plus some weekends as needed.

Saelens Corporation is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and keep our CNC-driven manufacturing operations running at peak performance. In this role, you will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs, mentor a team of skilled technicians, and serve as the primary technical resource for all machinery and facility systems. CNC Machinery Maintenance
Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC lathes, mills, routers, and other precision equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
Calibrate and align CNC equipment to maintain accuracy and operational efficiency.
Monitor machine wear and manage parts replacement proactively.
Team Leadership & Scheduling
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring quality execution.
Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development support.
Foster a team culture built on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Work Order & Maintenance Management
Create, schedule, and track work orders for both preventive and corrective maintenance using maintenance software.
Ensure timely and accurate updates on task completion, and equipment status.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in maintenance, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, including 3+ years working directly with CNC machinery.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with maintenance software for work order management, scheduling, and reporting.
In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery operation, programming, and maintenance.
Familiarity with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, and Haas.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a maintenance team.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt quickly to changing production needs.
