We are seeking a Data Science ML/LLM engineer for our Innovation Lab. This role is focused on the operational enhancements, maintenance, and support of data science software, including Python, R, TensorFlow, and H2O. The engineer will manage security, provide application and infrastructure support, and act as a liaison between infrastructure teams and business partners to deliver technology solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall health of the Data Science environment and solutions.
- Apply maintenance releases, upgrades, version control of packages, and hot fixes as required.
- Design solutions to reduce the operational and management complexity of the platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain AI Solutions via Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and Cloud environments.
- Perform platform capacity planning and management.
- Serve as an escalation point for platform issues.
- Establish best practices and guidelines for the usage of the Data Science platforms.
- Translate customer business needs into specific analytical solutions.
- Generate written documentation of all work performed.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of open source products such as Python, Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, R, RStudio, R Shiny, R Markdown, TensorFlow, Keras, H2O, Theano, and Caffe.
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues.
- Familiarity with assisting in the development and maintenance of process automation.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and address support issues in a mixed technology environment.
- Understanding of GPU architecture and its relationship to Deep Learning and Neural Networks.
Work Environment
This position requires the candidate to be onsite three days per week.
